Edward C Jauch, MD, MS

Dr. Jauch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and a member of the Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Stroke Team. He received his MS degree in biomechanical engineering from Cornell University in 1985 and received his MD degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1993. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, including a year as Chief Resident.
He was appointed to the faculty in 1997. Dr. Jauch’s specialty interests include ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and residency education. Dr. Jauch is also the director of the Fourth Year Medical Student Clerkship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Having gained significant research experience throughout his academic training, Dr. Jauch continues to pursue research as a member of the Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Stroke Team. He has published both as author and co-author many journal articles as member of the team, and presents the teams findings at conferences and hospitals nation wide. |
